Erik Polakowski

Erik grew up in a small town in Northwest Indiana, lived in Phoenix, AZ after he received his undergraduate degree, and moved to Las Vegas in 2000. Before joining GeoTek in 1999, Erik worked as a construction materials field testing technician where he learned what our inspectors and technicians do on a daily basis. Erik then worked as an environmental professional, performing site inspections and writing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments while working out of the San Marcos, CA GeoTek office. While Erik was earning his MBA, he and his young family relocated to the Corporate Office in Las Vegas, and they have lived in the Las Vegas Valley ever since. Erik was named the Corporate Business Manager in 2000 and oversees all aspects of the accounting side of GeoTek. Erik was elected to the GeoTek Board of Directors in 2015 and was named Chief Financial Officer in 2021. Erik is also a member of the Corporate Management Team, Chairman of the Shareholder and Invest Committees and member of the Benefits and Compensation Committees. Erik and his wife, Ann, enjoy spending time traveling to watch their sons play various sports and is known to be a Vegas Golden Knights fan. Go Knights, Go!
