Brent Solberg

Mr. Solberg started as a CAD drafter at an electrical engineering company, then moved to a structural design firm and started field inspections. After concrete and steel inspection certifications, he joined GeoTek in Las Vegas in 2003. He went from office staff to ACI technician supervisor to special inspection supervisor. He became an AWS Certified Welding Inspector, learned nondestructive testing, and became GeoTek's ASNT Level III. He later became quality manager, handled the Clark County annual renewal and IAS accreditation, and kept contact open with jurisdictions and offices. He now spends most of his time on field inspections.

His projects include single-family homes, arenas, bridges, and multi-story buildings. Named projects include the Grand Canyon Skywalk, several bridges at McCarran International Airport (including the only steel bridge there), Streamline Tower in downtown Las Vegas, and the Coyotes Arena in Glendale, Arizona. Hospital work includes additions at Mountain View Hospital and Sunrise Hospital.
