Diego has been in the geotechnical and materials testing/inspection industry for over 8 years. Diego began his professional career in Mexico after earning his degree from the University of Baja California. In 2015 he moved to El Centro, California to continue to develop his professional skills, and then joined the GeoTek Corona Branch office in 2017. Diego’s field experience includes logging of soil borings and exploratory trenches, infiltration and percolation testing, soil compaction testing, concrete sampling/testing, he is also experienced in multiple concrete and soil laboratory test procedures, including soil-cement. Diego’s duties have ranged from Field Technician, Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Manager, Staff and then Project Level Engineer. He is responsible for writing geotechnical reports, Infiltration and Percolation reports and Pavement Design Recommendations letters. Diego is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California.
