GeoTek offers a full range of construction materials engineering, field materials and laboratory testing, and construction observation and inspection services. Our staff have provided services on a wide variety of projects including: high and low rise buildings, parking structures, roads, water and wastewater treatment plants, utility transmission lines, storm water detention basins, bridges, airports (runways, taxiways and aprons), mine facilities, power plants, mass grading and residential and commercial developments. Construction materials include: Portland cement concrete, hot mix asphalt, soils, aggregates, masonry, steel, soil-cement, roller compacted concrete, and post-tensioned concrete.

Inspection Services: Inspection services include construction of two types of projects: building special inspections and inspection of public works. These inspections are performed to provide the owner with a greater degree of confidence that their project is constructed in substantial compliance with the construction contract documents. Building inspections services include International Code Council(ICC), special inspections of structural elements, as well as inspection of earthwork and building envelope framing. GeoTek's Las Vegas office became the first in Nevada to be accredited by the International Accreditation Service(IAS), of the International Code Council(ICC) to perform special inspections. Special inspectors are individually certified for each element of construction they inspect. Public works inspections include inspection of roads, bridges, water, wastewater, storm water, transmission lines, small dams, detention basins, airports(runways and taxiways), water tanks (concrete and steel), trench backfill (power, cable TV, and telephone), parks and recreation areas, and other public facilities. GeoTek engineers have developed programs to evaluate existing structures and pavements, perform full-scale load tests of completed structures and assemblies, and have provided consultation related to construction claims with respect to construction materials.
