Mr. Justin L. Stratton, P.E.,
is the GeoTek - Las Vegas Chief Engineer
and a registered civil engineer in Nevada. Mr. Stratton has experience in a
wide variety of projects involving geotechnical
and materials and construction inspection
fields. His experience in the geotechnical
design includes high rise condominium projects,
earth fill dam design, roadway pavement design,
major residential developments, commercial and
industrial projects, airports, and hillside
grading projects. Mr. Stratton has expertise in
geotechnical design for conventional and
post-tension foundations, soil stabilazation,
foundations in expansive soils, caissons,
retaining walls, seismic analysis, design of
reinforced earth slopes and mechanically
stabilized earth walls, slope stability,
seepage, roller compacted concrete mix designs,
soil cement mix designs.
Mr. Stratton has extensive
experience performing construction materials
inspections and testing. Mr. Stratton has
managed testing laboratories and field
inspections for the materials testing and
inspection of seven hazardous or industrial
waste landfills projects, high-rise hotels,
airports, gold mines, commercial, and industrial
structures, residential developments, highways,
roadways, earth-fill dams, landfill
construction, and below groundwater earth
fills. Mr. Stratton has expertise in
inspections and field and laboratory testing of
soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry, stucco, soil
cement, and reinforcing steel.
Mr. Stratton has received
certifications from American Concrete Institute
and International Building Code Officials for
testing and inspections. Mr. Stratton served as
the Las Vegas American Concrete Institute Vice
President and is an American Concrete Institute
approved examiner for ACI Field and Laboratory
Certifications as well as other ACI
certifications such as concrete finishing.
Additionally Mr. Stratton has been a Structural
Inspections Building Code instructor at
Community College of Southern Nevada. |
